This is a double parrot and plant that my mother crocheted about 45 years ago. I have always loved this and remember watching my mom work the pattern out and crochet this the summer before I started school. She recently gave it to me. It had not aged well, yellowed horribly with age but Oxiclean to the rescue! After soaking this overnight then a gentle hand wash, left the colors vibrant again and the white was once again white. I have it framed above the couch table where I keep photos my husband has taken of nature scene's and sunsets as well as our plant photo's. Just thought I would share this.
