nasturtium leaves have brown spots on them

My nasturtiums are called Moonlight or something like that, and they are yellow from Renee seeds. However, they developed large brown spots on the seeds, which could be a burn from using insecticide? I later planted some orange burpee nasturtiums and thier leaves are looking ok, which no spots of them. Is this a problem which only moonlight has?

Nasturtiums are known to attract aphids. Have you checked them for bugs?

I am planning a spraying for spider mites, but I think the brown spots were caused by spraying to begin with, but I am not sure. I am changing to another brand, just in case.
