Pink Dahlia

This one is pretty I think..but the following blooms were smaller..

Very nice, cactus, I have that pink but in the ball and pompon. I love it. Maybe a trade after we dig tubers? Do you know yours name?

Oh Starzz it is so beautiful, just breath taking. I would love to have some seeds from this beatuy if your saving them, if not then I will just enjoy this photo.

windsurffer, seed wouldn't necessarily guarantee you this exact dahlia, only a tuber will do that.An average dahlia produces at least 5 new tubers with eyes.

Well I guess I will just have to droll over the picture lol.

Thank you both for your nice comments.This bloom was the one that was on it when I bought it this summer. The following blooms..only two so far are not nearly as impressive..and it has only a few stalks right now. I hope next year it will perform better..we haven't had much rain and I can't water much because I have a shallow well.
It was this bloom that made me buy the plant..but it didn't have a tag on it..and the nursery person didn't know the name of it, unfortunately.
