Dahlias are blooming.

Lovely..I have deep red ones.

I have red too, I'll post one later.

I took a look at the Swan Dahlia's..I didn't know there were so many kinds and colours.
I noticed one that was 11" wide..a dinnerplate..WOW! that would be spectacular! Do you have any that are that size?
Besides my one red one..I have one small plant of a pink one with pointed petals.
Thanks for the site..and I saw the Swan's Glory one that you have..I really like it.

I am not really nuts about dinnerplates. I like to pick them and bring them into the house. This Swan Island nursery has 50 acres of dahlias, come join Pebble and I for a mini roundup there at the end of the month. LOL The only color that is not available in a dahlia is blue. I will post a few more later.

Not many of us Canadians here..
So you see it is not easy to trade...or to get to meet some of you friendly folks.
But I sure enjoy reading, and seeing the photos and learning all the time here on DG. I am a novice at gardening..been at it in earnest for only four years.
