Potato vine ????

Can someone tell me if this is a potato vine? I had it marked as one but it is growing up and not climbing!

looks more like a trumpet vine than my potato vine!!

I have both a trumpet vine and potato vine and I went out and looked at them before I posted this. The trumpet vine has notched edges and the potato vine was smooth on the edges like your picture.So I am of the potato vine opinion. Has it bloomed yet? Mine is a light purple. The potato vine and deadly nightshade are in the same family.But I have never seen this vine form berries like the nightshade.

Could it be St. Joseph vine?? ... also in the nightshade family.

I don't know! I received them in a trade and stated 'potato vine' is all I know!

Calalily...Yes they bloom and saw a guy wheel one out of Lowe's oneday and ask what it was and it was marked potato vine...it was covered with small white flowers...

I thought okay...I have seeds growing and will flower soon too! But it hasn't yet!

The leaves were similar to his! I hope this is it because his was gorgeous!

I wonder if it takes 2 yrs to bloom?
