We have this one down to 2 trunks.

that is massive, are those seed pods hanging down?
I have never seen seed pods from the wisteria. I dont think mine produces any seeds....

unfortunately, yes, those are pods..soon to be gone.

Apparently, a rare sight.the pods..they say when this occurs. the Wisteria is at it's healthiest state....Elaine

1601, i'd never heard that about the plant being healthy if it has pods.
this bush gets no fertilizer, no extra water, no care at all, just the occassional teenager that backs in to it and the dh that loves to lop it.

I can't wait for mine to grow up and get old. Yours must be a real sight when they bloom. You lawn looks great. Seems like all of you down south have large lawns.

I will look forward to a picture of this beauty when it is in bloom!
