I i would be interested in knowing how you collect the seeds of the bluebells because I am trying this for the first time. The seed pods seem to dissappear(eaten) before they dry leaving empty stalks, so I have collected the green pods to dry indoors. Do you think that they will be ok?
hmm, maybe, i just waited until the pods ripened, they turn translucent and papery white and you can see the black seeds inside. if you hang them upside down in a warm sunny place they might ripen up.
The seeds have turned black maybe they will be fine.
I would love some
Jasione laevis 'Blue Light' - Sheep's Bit Scabious
even just for the name
from the pic it looks lovely

I'd be interested in the centranthus ruber.
I could trade papaver somniferum "rouge du Jura" (a pink, Swiss heritage variety), possibly some dwarf sweet peas, limnanthes douglassii and goodness knows what else will appear between now and October!
Send me an email if you're interested.
gerddi - the centranthus ruber.. hehe you any idea how difficult it is to catch those little blighters.. they've got parachutes like dandelions and a slight breeze blows 'em away! lol! i've managed to catch a few though so you'll have a load to sow ;D . what you got coming in the next few weeks? i've already got loads of poppies and poached egg plants never seem to do well for me.

i don't grow a lot of flowers as I have mainly a fruit and vegetable garden.
The seeds I know I have because I've just collected them are agastache foeniculum (anise hyssop) and lupins (mixed colours).
I should also have the following non-flowers, although the runner beans are pretty when in flower and were first grown as flowers in Europe:
Runner beans with lilac (Blue & White) or red (Maienbohne) flowers; various phaseolus vulgaris, Welsh onion, Egyptian onion (tree onion - bulbs) , chilli seeds (Cayenne & Selection Z), tomato seeds (Aunt Madge, Fablonesistnyj and Salt Spring Sunrise).
let me know if you're interested in anything!
gerddi you got mail ;)
lilith - so have you :-)
more seed added to the list, take a look!
