Linux question

Ok all three of you linux users I have a question. I got my software in the mail today but when I try to install it starts working and going through the hardware screen and then stops at enabling device 00:07.2 (0000 -> 0001). Any sugestions. I searched on the web but have not been able to find anything except that most of the reference to this device has to do with USB.
