Foxtail Lilies
The Eremurus should be in the ground to develop roots for the winter. They prefer well-drained, sunny locations. It will take about 3 years for blooms to appear.
Last year I had 2 blooms, this year 6. http://www.grovestreet.com/jsp/onepic.jsp?id=73060
do the hummingbirds like these?
Haven't seen any hummingbirds but a lot of bees.

I planted one this last season, and it has bloomed beautifully. It was the pink one, kind of peachy. Was in my peach-of-a-garden. Gave it full sun, and planted it on a base of sand as recommended, since I have hard clay soil, though it has been amended a lot.
Hey Evelyn, you already said that.:)
tee hee...nothing like repeating yourself.....
Ah, I am always kidding with Evelyn, and she with me.
