these lupins were a freebie from a magazine here in the uk and were a first time for me. they look quite sweet don't they?

unfortunately so do the aphids, they're big little beasties aren't they! squashed a load today :( don't really like killing things, but i want to save some of the seed from these and they don't get a chance with those beasts around!
