I need to know the best location to plant the H.F. Young clematis plant that i saved from Lowe's clearance table for $2.00. It is in good health and needs a new home quickly. Can anyone help. Does it like morning or afternoon sun? etc. I tried looking for info on the web and didn't have any success. I even tried a couple of emails to clematis growers, with no response. :( She is a group I clematis, I would like to get her in the ground with the new trellis I have purchased soon.

H.F. Young Clematis question
debi. I purchased one just this spring..he's blooming his head off(*myself, I think this one is closest to the bluest, yet! He's in some sun, dappled shade, in a big pot, with the base cool. For pruning.....he's in Group 2, blooming the mos of May, June, and September.Now, I just went out to look again and the colour is a Wedgewood Blue..so striking! Elaine
