Anyone know what this is? I know it's sickly. Thinking it may be getting too much sun. THINK you can see the flower bud.

looks like either a grape hyacinth or bluebell

I know it's not a grape hyacinth. Leaves are MUCH bigger than a grape hyacinth. Will research bluebells. Thanks!
The leaves are to glossy and sword like to be a bluebell. Other than that, I don't have a clue as to what it is.
someone suggested that it might be a Japanese plant that sounded something like rodea.....???
Are the ends of the leaves rounded? Could it be a battered English( Spanish) hyacinth? The damage almost resembles that of Iris borer or hail damage, curious to see the bloom.
I'm also wondering the bloom
Could be a badly battered scillia. How wide are the leaves? Are they large enough to be a crinum?

I'm going to post another picture of this plant, which will give you a better idea of the size of leaf. Don't know how to add a picture here. Can it be done? (when you're posting a reply)
