Something is eating my hyacinth bean!

Sarasota, FL(Zone 9b)

Something is helping themself to this vine. Most of the damage is round holes in the centers of leaves about the size of a dime, but a few are eaten from the edges like a sandwich...what is doing this and what should I use to deter them? I cannot see any busg day or night.
Thanks!

Something started eating mine too. At 1st I thought it was slugs but never found any. Then I thought of earwigs so I laid a short piece of cut hose 5 inches or so and checked in the morning and found quite a few that had crawled in so I think that is the the pest. Now what do do, I sprayed neem not sure if that will help, reclunctant to use anything else since they are climbing the dog's run.

I've heard of using warm sopay water to discover earwigs, but not the hose thing...how does it work? Mine are in columns and I can't find any snails either...they are everywhere else so I am using Slugo as it is safe around dogs...and my dog is like a vacuum sweeper when outside!
