I believe that this cultivar is "Alice".

Hi Shirley. I love this plant. I tried to grow one a few years back but it got mildew and looked so bad I trashed it. Yours looks great.

Boy these varieties are sure hard to tell apart. I grow H. 'Snowflake' and have been very pleased. Michael Dirr "Musing on Hydrangea quercifolia.
