Isn't she beautiful?! The man we bought her from just delivered her today. She's the sweetest thing I've ever seen! Walked right up to me in the holding pen when we went to see all the man's cows for sale and let me run my hands all over her without a twitch or even a look. I petted her for a while and she tried to follow us out of the pen. *grin* We bought her, a Hereford cow and four young Duroc pigs. Woo-hoo! Now I REALLY have a reason to hang out here with you all more!
She's dried up at the moment, so we'll need to breed her to freshen her. It'll be almost a year before we can milk her, but I can't wait! I want fresh butter right now! LOL!
