This one is flowering well for me at the moment. Is it one that flowers over a long period, or does it have a flush of bloom now and nothing later? I'm trying to plan what i put alongside.

blooms mainly now for a few weeks. I cut mine back after flowering to tidy it up but cant remmeber if it reblooms

Psilostemon does not reflower. I put mine with pale pink geraniums. It helps to tone it down. Silver foliage also looks very nice with it.
I'd rather let my psilostemon sing psilo. Would hate to tone them down. I do like them with silver though. At the moment i have them surrounded by Helichrysum (Ozothamnus) rosemarinifolium, Abelia 'Edward Goucher', bronze fennel and Cryptomeria 'Sekkan-Sugi', but may well put some where they can shout even louder.
