I started making about 4-5 years ago, I needed something for our dining room that had vaulted ceitings, these wall hangings are 8' and 6', once I got done with these, I started making smaller ones, with tapestry fabric, then I made some whimsical ones that went to a boutique, and a couple of years I sold them at bazaar's. I like making them for friends and family, I usually pick out fabric that matches either the person's personality or their decor. The problem with making them for a boutique is that you of course wouldnt know anything about the person buying them, therefore you can't tailor it to their tastes.
