Pets as family

I was working in the yard late yesterday when a neighbor walked by with two black labs. Last I knew, she had one, so I asked if she had a new dog. No, the second dog is a "sleep over." Its people are on vacation for a couple of weeks and left their dog with Jill. Then Jill told me that a few days ago, another friend had left a golden retriever with her for several days, so the dog sleep over became a canine slumber party. :)
