The other thread was getting pretty long,I hope you don't mind me starting another.

Buy your light fixtures anywhere they have a sale. Don't go to a big fancy lighting store and pay waaay too much. Catch Lowes or Home Depot having a sale and go then. Mine came from K-Mart!! They had some really nice fixtures back then and I got some stuff at a close out. This was long before I had any walls or celings to put them on.I just bought lights or fans whenever something got marked down, Saved a bundle!
