Cyprus Wild Flowers

I'm looking for seed of several flowers that grow wild in Cyprus (and possibly elsewhere in the region). Does anyone have seeds of these:

Acacia (Mimosa)
Anemone (Windflower)
Asphodelus microcarpus (Tall Asphodel)
Convolvulus althaeoides (Mallow-leaved Bindweed)
Iris sisyrinchium (Iris)
Muscari parviflorum (Baby's Breath)
Myrtus communis (Myrtle)
Romeria hybrida (Violet Horned Poppy)

They'll be coming out soon, so if you know where they are, please look out for the seeds for me. I have lots of seeds to exchange.

Hello Mary,

not in Cyprus, but in Crete where I live,
a wild growing blue iris is maturing its seeds right now.
I don't know the classification, but I hope to have a picture up next week. I do have asphodels, but there is a confusion here, there are two totally different plants called asphodels, one is maturing its seeds right now, and one in September. Any pics/ descriptions??

Hi,

Well, I should think your Iris and Asphodel would be the same as the Cyprus ones. The Iris I mean is almost stemless, light blue, and the Asphodel is about a metre high, with pale pink (dirty white) starry flowers, and smells like cats (but I like it). Both bloom in rough open ground in the spring in Cyprus, so the ones you have maturing seeds now sound as if they could be the ones, don't you think?

Mary,
I 'll send you some seeds as soon as they are ripe.

What can you send in return??
