I'm growing this for the first time. I know it is a curcurbit but would like to know its genus and species. Can anyone help?

The botanical name is Cyclanthera pedata. Great plant to grow!

Thanks Baa. I managed to find info on the net having the latin name. My search for acocha brought up names of footballers!

LOL! Web searches do bring up some strange things.

I grew this vegetable a couple of years ago and it was huge but sadly didn't fruit for me. I have some more seeds now so I'll have to try it again.
