Well, it seems the termites are swarming in our back yard, ugh. It's an annual thing. At least they're not swarming inside the house - double ugh. But the air around our patio is thick with them and it's disgusting; I don't think I'll sit outside and pot up any more stuff until nightfall.

Come to think of it, I didn't examine these closely enough to see if they are ants or termites; they both swarm. But these seemed most concentrated around the flower bed that resides over the rotting stump of an old sycamore tree.
