I have a bunch of woodland flowers to trade - to make space for other wild flowers, most are from my pond in the woods (full shade), some are from my wildflower garden.
solomons seal, blue phlox, 2 types of ferns, skunk cabbage, purple loosestrife, trout lily, waterleaf, wood betony, may apples, trilliums, jack in the pulpits, wild roses, yellow, purple and white wild violets...I am looking for dutchmans pipe, and some larger flowered type plants-for more color. I am in zone 5.
lots of woodland flowers to trade
K, we seem to have much the same list. Do me one favor, though, KILL THE LOOSESTRIFE! It is eating up wetlands like crazy and is listed as noxious in most states where it appears. Pretty, yes, but extrememly detrimental to native plants and the animals that live off them.

I know! I keep it down to just one small bunch...it is not a native plant! Although it is wild here, I strive for a 'native' wildflower garden.
