I came home from being gone for just 3 days and the moles tore through my flower beds near the house and were really running wild. I was really really mad...lol I set some traps and then decided I'd collapse the tunnels near my plants anyway. I saw one poking his nose up for air as I flooded the tunnels, so I caught him! I've caught at least 3 this way so far. If they are near by, it works great. Then about 2 hours later, I saw the ground moving near the fence so I set the Nash Choker Loop trap out there and within another hour I hear a snap and something hit the fence. It was my trap popping up that hit the fence and made the noise. So that was 2 moles dead in about a 4 hour time period. I was very happy to be rid of them. They seem to keep making the same routes every time. They go along the fence, under my peony, under my dawn redwood, through my beds near the house and along the wall...etc, etc. I guess all I can do is keep watching them and trap them when I can.
Mole battle continues
