Major problem crating our puppy Emma :(

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Emma suffers from severe separation anxiety. When we have to go somewhere and crate her, she salivates like you would not *believe*! At first we thought she'd urinated in her cage, but it was slobber! There are little pools of it all around the cage's perimeter from where she's barked and slobbered.

That's not the worst. She gets so upset, her stomach gets really messed up. Sometimes, she just gets loose bowels. But other times, she'll experience pain when having a BM and yelp (loudly). Today she had the runs, plus strained more when done and I think there was blood. She was scooting around on the grass afterward, whining, so I know it hurt her. :(

The thing is, she is *fine* if she's not been left alone in her crate. And we don't leave her for any longer than she goes for when we're with her. This is so frustrating because we hate making her feel sick, but we have to be able to crate her and go places.

Any suggestions? We're about maxed out with vet bills right now, and it seems this is an emotional upset with her, not a physical one.
