I want to try a butterfly pea in a container. Anyone know what size pot should I use?

If you mean clitoria, I grew one all last season in a two gallon with a small trellis
2-gal? That's all? Do they get bigger in the ground?
not sure, it was my first time! it grew nicely and bloomed very well. this year I did put them in the ground.
I did like TiG, in a 12" pot with a trellis. I had 3 plants in the pot and it did very well. This year I'm putting them in the ground in my Tropical Beds. I think the only advantage to container growing was that I could bring the plants inside to let the seeds ripen.
I have never grown that in a pot. But the ones that grew in the ground did really well. But I always feel that it is the latter which is better.
They seem to be doing much better in the ground this year. They are much taller.
