I wasn't really trying to catch the pheasant.. ran about 3-4 kilometers trying to get a single @#1%&$ photo of this pheasant. It is a lonely male, which keeps noise there - very nicey, but a little too camera shy I think =) Sorry for the horrible photos.
They're not that bad Evert, lol. It's so frustrating isn't it? Once they know you're there you've had it!
Butterflies are so elusive too. Fine if you're in the right place at the right time, but murder if you try to follow one!
Oh, Evert, they are great shots! I have been trying for a few days now to get a shot of a Rufus hummingbird. My hubby adn I can work in that flower bed, directly under the feeder, for hours and they dive bomb us and frolic all over the place, ignoring us completely. But let one of us go out there with the camera, and it is as though they have all left the country! I think they must be camera shy!
