Found this wild one from a nice place, under a willow :) This looks much bigger then the cowslips people have in gardens. Someone want seeds of these? Will have lots of them after blooming..

Next time you look at them, would you look closely at the calyx for me please? I think these might be P elatior - Oxslip rather than P veris.

If they are Oxslips, they are quite a rare find if they are wild!
I looked at the photos in web... it is not veris - it must be elatior. Cool, at last I found something rare :) Want seeds Baa?

The calyx will be the deciding factor, if the lobes are long, pointed and quite thin then they are P elatior if they are quite chubby and only a short point then it is veris. From what I could see on the pic they are long but the flowers will have opened up enough tomorrow to tell you who they are :)
