Anybody out there do Native American style baskets? I have made coiled baskets out of willow, cattail, redbud and a variety of other materials. Thanks to roadrunner I'll be trying devil's claws sometime soon. I would love to be able to decorate my coiled baskets similar to Pomo type feather and beaded baskets but cannot find instructions on how to do this and when I've contacted Native American basket weavers through their craft guilds, none have returned any of my e-mails. Help - desperatly seeking instuctions. Can anyone help?
