Stephanotis vine

Hamilton, Canada

I'm on a roll these days doing lots of propagation. I have an overgrown 8 foot stephanotis vine that stopped flowering.
2 weeks ago I cut off all of the new growth and made about 20 cuttings a foot long. I dipped them in rooting gel, potted them up and put them in sealed plastic freezer baggie. All of them have rooted!! I can't wait until they bloom. This will be the summer of tropical vines outdoors!!

Joydie, so glad to hear this!! I've been trying to root this vine, and now I will try your method. Wonder if this will work with my jasmines?

That is really pretty,i am a vine nut.
I made two new tee~pee trellis and one
using old wooden pence posts with cable
wire and have others made out of willow.
I can't wait to see them all covered if
they grow like i want. Good luck on
your cutting's.

Cala,

The mother plant is sending out more new shoots already, but they are too short yet to make into cuttings. When they do I'm going to make MOREEEEEEE!!
