This is Peter, the cat with his friend, a female German Shepherd. Peter joined our household as a kitten. The dog was then already six years old but it was love for both at first sight. Peter was not allowed to go outside, as hunters are allowed by law to shoot and kill house pets, when they are 200m away from the house. A few times he managed to open the door and sneak outside into the garden. We never found out how the dog knew, his friend had been outside. She looked and chased him all the way back into the house, Peter twice as big before, his hair all standing up. But he realized soon, that the dog wasnt mean to him and it became for both a big game. The dog died four years later and Peter has not been the same since then. He was looking and searching a long time for his friend. The large water bowl is still standing at the same place. Peter refused to drink water out a other, smaller dish.
