Hello I am in Zone 5b-6a and got a few canna bulbs yesterday. I wanna plant them in a container and was wondering when this cna be done? Thanks for any help you can offer

When to PLant Canna's outdoors
You can put them in containers as long as the temp. is above freezing and no frost. If you can leave them in containers in a warmer place you can put them in now. It will give them a head start before putting them outside.

tamlamb..we planted 2500 cannas at work (Zone 5a) yesterday.in the greenhouse..it gives the plants a head start and gets flowers a month earlier outdoors when we plant them out.

I just got through digging my new Canna Bed, and putting my darlins in the ground! I started them in pots indoors in Feb, and now they are 10 inches to 3 ft....depending on the variety! I'm planning on blooms the end of next moth if not before!
