this is the phalaenopsis ,it has lots of buds and another shoot with more buds.I'm so scared I'm gunna kill these guys.The dog was wagging its tail near the plant and I almost had a heartattack.Moved the plant AND the dog.

That's a beautiful plant CC !
Phals are a good orchid to start with and you only have to be careful to water it early in the morning, so by the afternoon, the crown (= the area where all its leaves start from) is dry to avoid crown rot.

At the Syracuse NY house and garden show the orchid club was selling them.there were tons of them and all kinds.I asked for the easy ones!
