Cypress Slab Coffee Table Top

Howdy Y'all,
My hubby has a very old cyress slab
that has just been lying around for years. Now
that we "just the two of us" are building a
new ranch home in Rustic Country style, he said
he is going to make me a coffee table out of it.
But he is stumped on two areas and I am pretty
sure would love your ideas.
1-He needs to make some natural table legs that
will match the slab, and unique attachment ideas.
