lamps, lamps. & more lamps!

I am collecting lamps. I have learned how to rewire them, afix the saddles and harps to hold the shades, and refinish the brass. The fun part is the hunt! I buy some from ebay, some at yard sales and some at thrift stores. I bought one the other day (a nice small art deco in marroon) that had absolutely NO hardware on it at all, but I got it for $1. It will take me about $4 to wire it, add the hardware, and find a shade, but I will sell it for about $16.95. Cool, eh? I sell through a new lighting center that has a special area just for my "vintage" lamps. She charges only a small consignment fee.
