Summer migrants have started to arrive! A Swallow has been seen in Wales and a few days ago a Wheatear was seen at Prawle in Devon. Keep an eye out for early migrants like Wheatear, Sand Martin and Little Ringed Plover over the next week or so.

Gosh Mark, i will keep looking to see my lovely swallows back again, although many will have been shot down by the gun loving continentals. They certainly help to keep the insect population down.

Thanks Mark I'll keep my eye out for HouseMartins and Swallows although they tend to appear in late April here.
