Like to have all the seeds you can ever grow, free - just for the cost of a postage stamp?

Please see my post on the United Kingdom Forum, headed 'Let's start a UK Seed Round Robin'!

what is there to stop me getting something c**P in return for something really special? my dread is to send someone a rarish hardy geranium and get something that is always being traded like Cosmos seeds?

In my limited experience of Round Robins, folk are very ethical.

The ground rules will say, in effect: if you take out a rare item, replace it with something of equal perceived value.

Folk do observe these gentilities, I find. Indeed, they'll often put back far more packets than they've taken out.

And if they (sometimes) don't, what does it really matter?
