When last down in Mexico, I noticed that many different succulents were used as table decorations on buffets, dining tables. There was a sort of glued together pebble/acquarium gravel conglomeration on top of the soil, probably to keep dirt from flying into people's soup!
Any ideas what it is? I'm doing a bunch of planters up for a charity sale in May, and thought I might try it. It would also help me when transporting them.
Anyone else seen this stuff?
