I'm feeling cocky!!

Hi,

Anyone here ever had gel injections in your joints? I had my first of three today. No problem but I did probably have a funny look on my face when my surgeon told me that the stuff he injected was made from rooster combs. Hence, the title of the thread. :-) I hope this works so I don't have to have my knee replaced until fall. Would just really ruin my summer to have it done now. I would really like to hear from those who have had this procedure so I can know what to and not to expect.
