DG's: My nephew has this vine growing in his trees, bushes, on his house. It is fast growing and he would like to remove it. I need to identify it (I live in California) so that I can advise him on the best way to get rid of it without harming the other landscaping.
The photo is lacking identifying elements that an intact vine in situ would provide. It most resembles Japanese honeysuckle, based on red vine, grown in shade so leaves are elongated and spaced. Highly invasive with underground & above ground runners. Common throughout the South.
