CLOSED: Which moth?

I am almost certain this is the larva of an Abbott’s Sphinx moth but not so certain that I can say absolutely it is. It was on my Virginia Creeper and is about 3” long.

It certainly appears to be exactly that. As you likely already know, the caterpillars of this species vary tremendously in appearance - https://insectid.wisc.edu/2014/03/07/abbott-sphinx/

Yes, there really are quite a few variations from what I was able to find. Thank you for confirming it is an Abbott’s Sphinx caterpillar.
