plant ID bush #1

Hello - can anyone help identify this bush? It's an evergreen and has cornmeal like stuff on the leaves. I'm in Howard County Maryland. Thanks!

A Viburnum. Let’s call in an expert:
@ViburnumValley

Scott County, KY(Zone 5b)

That is Viburnum x pragense - Prague Viburnum.

It is a rather commonly grown broadleaf evergreen. It is a hybrid between two other viburnum species. The undersides of the leaves are quite tomentose - giving it a very silvery color - and is the source of the "cornmeal like stuff" you mention. It can cause mechanical skin irritation/itching in some people, so you might want to wear protective clothing when working around this species.
