Hello Fellow Gardeners,
I saw in May, in Boston area, a woody shrub with many woody branches, about 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide with new growth at the tips. The leaves were identical to those of perennial variety of Shasta daisy and the home owner said it provides blooms just like that of Shasta daisy.
I have searched the internet, but all I find is material on the perennial Shasta daisy. Would anyone know what is the name of the Woody Shasta Daily bush? BTW, I am a seasoned gardener with 20+ years of experience - I know it was not the usual perennial variety.
Any info will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
Shasta Daisy Woody Shrub - not the perennial!
An image would help.
While a pic would definitely help Montauk daisies, also called Nippon daisies, are popular along the northeast coast. They look like shastas.
