Which browser should we upgrade to?

Hi all,
Currently we are using Netscape 4.75, but need to upgrade since we are finding that it is not current enough for a lot of things. We have been hesitant because I have a friend who had a lot of problems with Netscape 6.0.

So, the question is - should we go for Netscape 6.2 or switch completely to Internet Explorer?

Thanks for any advice or opinions.
