I haven't been looking at posts the last few days. But this morning I did. I had to laugh at spammer KaceyJohna who must have a sense of humor to post his spam for a gambling site on a thread titled SPAM.

These people are the internet version of robocallers. They get paid per "hit". Every time you open a link you are putting money in the their pocket. Granted, only a few cents, but in some parts of the world it adds up to making a living. Just like robocallers rotate area codes and numbers, these people can rotate their IP addresses and attach a new screen name to each. Apparently there are currently no filters in place to ban phishers' IP addresses which used to be the case. It seems that even when spam or phishing is reported and deleted the same names, plus new ones, continue to appear. So, don't open links which could result in you getting hacked as well as annoyed, and as Mom used to say, "Save your breath to cool your soup."
