What might this be?

What a beautiful isopod! The ones here are far more drab in appearance. I suspect that yours could be in the family Philosciidae.

Wonderful thanks very much.

I am thinking in the Genus Chaetophiloscia.
Though not many documented finds in your area (Columbia) due to lack of research and not many citizen scientist... it is possible to be a known genus/species or maybe a new species.
Nonetheless...I am happy for you to continue your observations of all the creatures that you observe. Thank you for sharing your finds!

A possibly useful reference: Checklist of the terrestrial isopods of the New World (Crustacea, Isopoda, Oniscidea) by Leistikow A., Wägele J.W.
Rev. Bras. Zool. 16: 1-72, 1999
It lists four species of Chaetophiloscia with the following note: “This genus is of westpalaearctic distribution and the American members have to be re-examinated in the sense of phylogenetic systematics.”

Very interesting update, thank you.
