I put this Weeping Cherry in my yard 3 years ago, and it is beautiful when in bloom. The branches are getting very long, and I don't know if and how it should be pruned. I am afraid that if I prune the excess tips, the branches will grow "brooms" on the ends, and I don't want that! Any help will be very appreciated- Thanks in advance.
How do I prune this Weeping Cherry Tree?
Your cherry tree looks so happy!
I have no clue myself but I did look on YouTube 'pruning weeping cherry tree'. They have quite a few videos on it. All I glanced at did the pruning before the tree leafed out.
Here is 1 I found.

Hope it is helpful.
Thanks- I will go watch some wideos!
