This wee fella was secreting himself in the wood pile today. I thought it was a rock but on closer examination it appeared to be a toad/frog.
Temps here are in the mid 60s F, near 33F overnight ..
Anyone recognize him/her ?

Toad/Frog ??
A close up would be a much better image to use for an ID BUT it looks like a gray tree frog to my untrained eyes.

Thanks so much for the link, AND, the answer :-)

Appears to be Tree Frog! Love them!
Have quite a choir of happy frogs serenading me to sleep .. darned if I know how they survive the winters here, but, if the mosquitoes can, I guess the frogs can too .. :-)

Gray tree frogs begin singing around dusk, in my experience. I first noted them when my neighbor did not open his pool until late in the season, and the pooling of water on top of the pool cover was used by the little creatures to reproduce. 😁
