I planted red express sun verbena purchased at Lowes 3 weeks ago and they are doing great. Central Florida zone 9 in full sun. Does anyone know why some of the new flowers on one side of plant starting to come in white?
Verbena Flowers Turning Pink
I have seen verbena with multiple colors but they are all in 1 flower cluster and all flower clusters look the same. You have 2 different colored flower clusters.
My first guess is you have 2 different plants there. The red plant might have been more mature so flowered first.
I do not think they are aging to a different color because I see the new flowers are the same color as the whole cluster.
Just a guess.
