Great year so far for weather here, not so much for other things.
We have had quite a year for weather.
Early spring, planting went great.
Dry summer, only rain was around 3½" end of June.
Never missed a day at farmers market because of rain or storms.
Seems the rain hit just right. Every farmer had a bumper crop.
Weather was decent for harvest. All farmland is now tilled & fertilized.
Rain has come steadily since mid October, so ground is wet enough for 2020 crops.
Here we are Dec 2nd, no snow on the ground.
Temps have been high 30's, 40's & 50's most days.
Low was 20º one morning. Weather guy said normal low for today is 16º
It is 43º & sunny.
No on to Christmas!
December 2021 Weather, Last month of this nonsense.
Warm and foggy til late noon each day, not much rain-zero for Dec so far, but nights at 50* and above, days at high 70's, unusually warm actually, but leaves are still falling- we have had no freezes yet this Fall. We are under the La Ninas as well...so weather patterns are following those tendencies. Garden is full of southern greens-kale, rocket, fennel, parsley, spinach, mustard, chard, beets, cilantro, weeds grrrr, oregano, broccoli, still have jalapenos ripening, but it is soggy wet almost all day long even without rain.
Hello all, Weather here has been mild for this time of year, but winter has just officially begun. I don't live far from a recent destructive tornado event, so please no more unseasonably warm weather. I am ok with some chilly temps.
Still 80* here, but makes the tree trimming and brush clearing easier on my bones. Took the plants out to the front porch to get air and rest the plant lights, looks like a small sunporch out there with all the green stuff. Mosquitoes gearing up. The winds are still knocking leaves onto the ground, so need to start burning.
Merry Christmas!
Yesterday was close to 50º.
Today high of 23º, now 15º but sunny.
Merry Christmas CG! We will get winter here after the 1rst, in the meantime we are waiting news of covid tests and staying low- my kids are all in jobs with high exposure- not health, but my daughter is at Walmart and that is probably worse, and my sil has no tolerances to illnesses. His coworker was hospitalized when he was, but the coworker died while my sil came home and got better, and now their shop is down with it all again. 15* makes me shudder-78* at least today! winds were pretty gusty.
Starting a new year.

Good morning! I retire 3/1/22, so I'll have more time to drop in and chat about the weather. Right now it's a frozen tundra here, but the robins have been back for a few weeks and lots of chattering early morning. Feeling hopeful. Enjoy your weekend whether you are throwing snowballs or basking in the sun. : )
Still lots below zero's here.
Warm up on it's way. Supposed to be nice next week.
Still busy in the cabinet shop. Going to install a project tomorrow.
New seedings are doing great. We ar expanding our greenhouse operation this spring. We had real good business last spring and are expecting an increase in business.
